Filip Dewaele

Filip Dewaele is a prominent figure in the real estate industry, serving as the Chairman of the Board of Dewaele Vastgoedgroep. After his father laid the foundations of the first office in Bruges, Filip Dewaele, together with his two partners – Stefaan Coucke and Geert Berlamont – expanded the real estate group to 53 offices in Flanders and Brussels. In the growth story of becoming a “lifelong partner for housing and business”, Filip Dewaele passed on the CEO torch to Sofie Spriet in 2021, who continues to steer Dewaele Vastgoed towards new horizons, combining innovation, integrity, and a deep-rooted commitment to providing exceptional real estate services by its 300 colleagues. The real estate group has all the expertise in-house regarding sales, long-term rentals, vacation rentals, and management of residential, commercial, investment, and luxury properties, both for existing and new constructions. Furthermore, Filip also commits as a member of the Appeals Chamber of the supervisory body of the sector (BIV).
