In 2018 Dirk Paelinck founded Workero, a digital service provider organizing Coworkings within companies who want to monetize their underused workspaces and to attract innovating business partners. The same year he started organizing, with Finnova Foundation, the PropTech StartUp Europe Awards, supported and promoted by the European Commission. He co-founded the EU PropTech House in October 2018. He is also founder & CEO of Interoffices (2015), the second largest network of business centers/coworking spaces in Belgium. He has 12 years of flexible office real estate experience of which 7 as a Director for Regus, where he was awarded Area Director of the Year (2010).

In 2007, he founded RESERVOIR A, an architectural practice based in Charleroi and Brussels. The office develops public and private projects of all scales: masterplans, public spaces, cultural centers, industrial buildings, hospital complexes, offices, public housing, private homes and furniture. Since 2013, it has managed the Charleroi Bouwmeester office.

Maarten Van Acker

Full Professor Urban Design at the University of Antwerp
Maarten is full professor Urban Design and director of the Research Group for Urban Development at the Faculty of Design Sciences at the University of Antwerp. His research focuses on healthy urban design and integrated infrastructure projects. He coaches several cities, project developers and architecture offices with the realisation of complex urban developments, infrastructure projects and organising international urban design competitions and workshops. Maarten is also partner at B-juxta and strategic adviser at B-city. He serves as vice-president of Europan Belgium, an international urban design competition of ideas and projects, to develop innovative strategies for sites in transformation. Maarten is present in the public debate and featured in several media. He serves as a columnist for the Antwerp newspaper and member of several editorial boards.

Idriss Goossens

With over 10 years of experience in the PropTech space, Goossens is the founder and executive chairman of PropTech Lab, a real estate innovators network in Belgium and Luxembourg representing 280 company members. PropTech Lab helps startups raise capital and advises large real estate corporations on their innovation strategy. In 2019, Goossens co-founded the European PropTech Association, organizing the PropTech StartUp & Scale-Up Europe Awards. European PropTech Association is supported by the European Commission and by the 26 national proptech hubs, representing 3.200 PropTech startups. In 2020, Idriss founded RELEVATION, the digital fundraising summit for proptech. This digital event was created as the pandemic greatly accelerated the adoption of PropTech and the need arose for a digital solution to connect startups and investors. RELEVATION facilitates investments in the proptech space, by connecting founders to VC’s, GP’s to LP’s, and ease the access to talents with a digital job fair. He also co-founded RECAP.World, a resilient cities accelerator for corporate, facilitating the creation of Resilient and Sustainable cities. He is Co-Chair of the ULI Real Estate Technology Product Council.

Hakima Darhmouch

On top of her insatiable interest for all aspects related to societal issues, Hakima is actively involved in board rooms of cultural institutions, including BOZAR and Atomium. ​Former news anchor, deputy chief editor and chief of the political cell at RTL Belgium, she also operated during 3 years as chief culture at public broadcaster RTBF. ​Since her arrival at akkanto end-2021, Hakima was involved in several projects relating to public affairs, stakeholder engagement and reputation management in a variety of economical sectors.
