Edward Van Keer

Edward Van Keer is since 2004 a policy officer for “integrated water management” at the Department of Mobility & Infrastructure of the Flemish Government. He is an expert in water quantity management and sediment management. Since September 2021 he is the project leader of “Kustvisie” (Coastal Vision). The goal of Coastal Vision is to protect our coast for at least another 100 years against sea level rise. Phase 1, the co-creation research traject, ended in March 2023. Based on the results and further research a draft strategic policy plan will be developed by the end of 2023.
