Bart van Opstal is a notary in Ostend and spokesperson for Notaris.be. From 2008 to 2012, he was president of the Federation of Notaries. During that mandate, he launched the Real Estate Barometer, which has since become a regular feature. Every quarter, the barometer provides an update on the real estate market, including figures on the number of transactions and price evolutions.
