Arie Lengkeek

Arie Lengkeek is a researcher and concept-developer in the fields of spatial development and culture. Under the name /commongrounds, he works on research and practice of urban commons and ecologies. His motivation is to develop new commons as practice places for the city of tomorrow. In 2022 he co-authored ‘Operatie Wooncoöperatie / uit de wooncrisis door gemeenschappelijk bezit’, which greatly inspired and stirred debate on cooperative housing for the Netherlands. As of september 2023, he will join the dutch developer/constructor ERA-contour.
