The next Realty Summit will take place in Gare Maritime on 21 & 22 September. This architectural and sustainable gem, designed by Neutelings, is not only the winner of the 2020 RES Awards, but offers 20.000 m² of semi-outdoor and well ventilated space.
Gare Maritime is an energy-neutral building. The building’s energy is renewable and generated on-site. Heat and cold are produced geothermally and electricity is generated by solar panels. No fossil fuels are used for heating or cooling anywhere in Gare Maritime.
The building’s skin has been optimised to minimise energy loss and to make the most of natural daylight. Triple, insulating, dynamic solar control glass contributes to circularity and reduces energy needs. The building is equipped with state-of-the-art technical installations for ventilation, heating, cooling, shading and lighting.
