COO Nextensa
Peter De Durpel (1968) studied Master of Science in Civil Engineering at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels. After a career within the Infrastructure Department of Belgian Defence, and with Bopro, a leading consultancy in the Belgian real estate market, he joined Nextensa (formerly Extensa) in 2015. He became one of the driving forces behind the still ongoing urban expansion and regeneration project Tour & Taxis in Brussels. He is the company’s COO since 2015 and is interested in sustainable urban development, circular economy and in anything that makes cities thrive.
